I cant’ do it - these characters are INSUFFERABLE. You can be meek and mild and genteel or whatever without being a freaking doormat. I’m less than 100 pages from the end but I know that the way that the FMC is going to react to the utter upheaval her life has just been sent in is going to piss me the heck off so I don’t think I can continue and put myself through that.
