Research for a future book interrupting my present WIP! A riveting read from a master shikari. I expected to be concerned at the killing of tigers, now endangered. By presentism did not impair the enjoyment of this book. The sheer number of humans killed by tigers and leopards between 1900 and 1930 is staggering.
