So far I've finished 2 chapters and the author has already gone to great lengths to weave lurid tales about Jefferson based on a single obscure and cryptic reference.
I'm hoping for better as the book continues, but I fear that the book was written to fit facts and interpretation to a pre-determined narrative rather than a true scholarly study of an important historical figure.
