I'm suddenly addicted to audio books ;) when I never used to like them. Weird, but the voice has to be right though or else I won't read it :/

Any other audio book lovers out there?

Whitney Yes! It takes at least a chapter or two to get use to the tone of the narrator and if I can't, then I just call it bust and move on. My husband's been hogging all the audible credits lately. At least I've created a audiobook monster, there could be worse things.

Mo I am quite picky when it comes to accents. Listening to Flowers from the Storm in my car on my way to work. Love the narrator. Tried the Rock chicks on audio and hated the narrator.

~✡~Dαni(ela) ♥ ♂♂ love & semi-colons~✡~ I don't and can't do audio books. I'm hearing impaired and listening the flow of sound without visual cues is an exercise in frustration and futility.

I am totally okay with it. I don't wearing hearing aids yet, but I will, and really, it's cool. Sometimes it's nice to tune out the world, ya know? ;)

My hearing has always lagged, so I've always been very visual. I don't even like to watch videos online. I much prefer to see and read.

But I know audio books work for a lot of people, and it must be nice if someone has a long commute.
