Gotta be extra careful with the super hyped books smh. I’ll usually read the 1/2 star reviews to see what’s really up

You’re so right. And I’ll start doing the 1/2 star review trick for sure. That’s where the real tea is lmao. I’m hella new to the online book community so they got me but not anymore. At least I caught myself before I fell for the Colleen Hoover trap because I would’ve been very mad wasting my time on toxicity. I’m very particular about what I feed my mind.
This is so bad but most hyped books online (TikTok) are automatically on my “beware” list lol. And yes I refuse to read anything by CH- just toxic all around.
