In "The Widow Who Lost Her Silver Coins," does she bemoan her lack of foresight in not knowing how to beg for alms, since her prayers can console the entire village? Whatever the case, she no longer provides this service because for all her powers, she is just as poor now as she ever was... Maybe the village will actually start to pay her for her powers.
