Holy fuck. The King was trying ti have Cain kill Celaena, and Cain was behind all the murders and opening up the portals (which I thought was thr obvious choice so I didn’t suspect him). Celaena broke it off with Dorian :( But I think her and Chaol are getting it on 🤪 Chaol killed Cain and Nehemia is a fucking angel. Forget that I was suspicious, I love her sm. Magic still reigns and the King has some powers?

50% done! Man this book has a way deeper meaning than just the King’s Champion! So magic has been outlawed and these Wyrd marks seem to be related to magic, and Celaena is learning about then. The first Queen has warned her about some evil in castle, and she was a fae... interesting, so much is going on. Also that love triangke between the prince, Chaol, and Celaena 🤤 I wonder who she ends up with

But she’s competing tk be the King’s champion (aka killer), and she’s the onkt chick. I love it. She’s got a bit of a tantalizing romance between the head guard, Choal, and the crowned prince, Dorian, and I’m living for every second of it. I love Princess Nehemia too. So excited

I have super high expectations for Sarah J. Maas’ books, everyone raves over ACOTAR. I have zero clue what’s going to happen, except that the main character sounds bad fucking ass. All in all, I can’t wait to read this!!
