I’ll admit Irby is talented—and even funny, in an acerbic and shocking way. Unfortunately, this collection is only charming if you enjoy the author’s particular brand of humour (or you fantasize about becoming best friends with her.) Unfortunately, I don’t think this writer and I would get along. This is theoretically what I love to read, but I’m definitely not the target demographic. DNF.
