This one is for my summer course at UMSL: Banned Books & YA Literature. The book is already quite thought-provoking. I appreciate the refreshingly critical point of view here. I hear a lot of talk about "using YA to create lifelong readers," but rarely do I hear specifics about how to concurrently inspire young adults to be close and critical readers. This book seems to be addressing my concerns nicely.
