Weird... I JUST read the part in The Last Kingdom where King Edmund (the future Saint Edmund) is killed by the Danes... not really a spoiler, it's history! Then the next thing I read is the 2nd story in this collection, which heavily involves Saint Edmund and even mentions him being killed by the Danes.
