Chapters 7 - 14 shenanigans are a foot and no motive is apparent to the characters; although we the reader know. A few errors noted as in a name mix up, stated that she runs her restaurant alone but she has a great crew, and the martyrdom is a little overblown.

Through chapter 15. More contradictions noted. She is supposedly the town pariah with no friends but runs a successful restaurant, which relies on customers from the town. After this most recent incident she states I won't put any of my friends in danger...

Unfortunately I purchased this book before I realized the author writes christian stuff. At this point, there has been about four or five prayers and god/lord mentioned two or three times. Hopefully, it'll slow down so I don't get a headache from all the eye rolling. Story seems ok so far but a little unrealistic that she would feel so guilty when nothing is her fault. I might need a while to unwrap that.
