Fighting for my life trying to get through this book. I absolutely cannot stand when there are “broken thoughts” and the text has 83947 dashes. See:

Having a hard time really getting into this because the writing feels rigid and clunky and that’s compounded with the two 1st person POVs which is not for me. Would’ve been much better if this was 3rd person
