This is a wonderful and powerful novel that tells of era of the disappeared when the military government of the country proclaimed 'First we will eliminate the subversives, then their accomplices, then their sympathisers, and finally all those who are indifferent or lukewarm.'

It is utterly horrifying and totally compulsive reading.
