The idea is highly interesting! It can blows my mind! 😁
Really, what happened if Hitler and Freud could have met each other?!
(Although what was going on in their sessions have not been my favourite so far, and probably war would have happened with or without Hitler, the core idea is creative)

I too find this premise fascinating, Zara, but Hitler hated introspection and one of the most secretive men who evr lived, especially when it came to sex and family matters.
There is something wrong here and I can't reply on your comment 🤔 I think you won't see my reply. That's true, in their first hypothetical session, Hitler literally messed his office. 😅 That was a good point, however, on the other side there is Freud not a usual psychoanalysis 🤔 maybe they could have matched 😅 maybe he felt so angry so that he did not pursue sessions.

Reply received, Sara. Perhaps Freud the genius could have broken through Hitler's shell and gotten him to talk, especially about the event that changed his life, the tragic death of his mother from cancer. Is this in the novel?
Yes, he mentioned this in the first meeting with Freud. Also, he mentioned his father's bad attitude toward his mom.
A sadistic father seems to have par for the course in XIX century Austria and Germany, Zara; quite the opposite of Freud, who saw his father as a weakling, especially in response to anti-semitism.
Zara: Freud talks about this in his brief autobiography. He lost respect for his father at an early age in Vienna.
