- nervous about where they’re heading but not mad at how we’re getting there
- I get why her friends were mad at her
- I resonate with her mixed feelings about her father…..
- have loved Nicola Yoon since I was like 14 (im 20 going on 21) and only just now realized she’s Jamaican-American which is why most of her main characters are Jamaican-American 😃

always going to love the cynical/free spirit pairing - wins everytime
I’m really scared/excite to see what the conflict is between these two since…..he seems like nothing bothers him and she seems open INSIDE but she’s still cynical but she gives things a chance
