And it’s a DNF for me. I think 400 pages is good enough to judge a book and invest my time in it before deciding if it’s worth it. And this book is really not worth it. It sucks that I bought sequel as well because SJM can do no wrong 😞. I hate doing this but I will die of boredom if I keep reading.

Idk it’s a struggle to push through this book. I loved the initial introduction into the world which I heard was tough for people to get into. However at this point, the story is stalling and I’m not really a fan of any character. They’re fine but not super interesting that I want to read more about them. I guess I’ll give another 100 pages before DNFing it.

I heard that it’s tough to get into and contains a lot of info dump but tbh I enjoyed the world building and getting the know the different creatures in this massive world. And I love that it’s not first person pov.
