It sucks. I’m more than halfway through and it’s taking me forever because it’s incredibly boring. The protagonist is hard to sympathize with, despite what she has been though, the plot lines are pitiful and reek of teenage girl. I also do not appreciate the amount of venom aimed at southern people when they moved to the south. Not everyone in Virginia is a racist asshole, yet the author seems to think so.
