I took a platinum ring from my pocket. Every continent was subtly etched into its surface, as a promise to keep exploring and to never revert back to my comfort zone. And inside, I’d had it inscribed with the latitude and longitude of our house in San Francisco, so we’d take a reminder of home with us wherever we went.</spoiler>
