I found the section about anarchism interesting, and useful. With lots of new, impressive information.
But, the england part (section two) is vague so far. I may find it more useful in the next pages.

England part is finished! 😁
Let's start the US part!
Part two (England) was more about psychology than history. Politicians are described as if they are some people in a well-written novel. 😍

I hope you enjoy it in the future. 😉
Zara, this volume shows that the calmest, and for some, most desirable world can come crashing down in a matter of months. Ms. Tuchman is too much in love with Edwardian England, I agree.

yes, you are right about her interest. This chapter is so descriptive with lots of characters.
Edwardian England was like many a small town in Africa, Asia or Latin America: Everyone of note was a cousin to everyone else. For that matter, except for the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, every European monarch of World War I was related to Queen Victoria.
