We're into a string of Tocqueville now in Part II. Good stuff. All due credit to Boaz, he wasn't shy about (for instance) properly characterizing Rothbard in the first section. Agree or disagree, this is political dialogue in good faith.

Great collection of writing, with some very perceptive commentary and lively introductions by David Boaz.
As a Whig, I overlap with a lot of this thought. Highlighting the differences as well as identifying the commonalities is a great way to both sharpen my thinking and deepen my understanding of my own political philosophy. It's a great exercise.
