the first three chapters are about bubbles, among which the tulip mania is the most interesting -however the similarities they present in each case surprising. then comes the section about alchemists, it is a little boring to read all their lives in details -but to see the history of craziness/how people believe and follow foolishness without even questioning it in different eras in history is quite stimulating.
