This latest chapter has a lot of really big changes. I had to research Moscow, Russia, and the time it takes to get anywhere, which was NOT what I had originally written. But that's okay. Each draft will make the finished product all that much better.
And now that my son is out of school, I have a lot more time to catch up on being behind. Hooray!

Chapter 24 is done being edited. This round of edits is my beta reader feedback implementation and added description/internalization before sending everything my editor.
Alpha reader feedback implementation took way longer than expected, but it's almost done now!

Implementing alpha reader feedback has been a journey! Thanks to my alpha readers (and reviewers for TEG), it's practically a whole new book. I have 3 chapters left before it goes to beta readers. I'm so excited to see what they think!

Woo, buddy. Things have been complicated, and I'm fighting a burnout of EVERYTHING. Hopefully I'll be able to get back into the swing of things after my son's last day of school this Friday... because I'm horribly behind in my alpha reader feedback implementation.

Eureka!
I'd been stuck trying to fix my slow pacing issue for what seems like forever now. It's a race against the clock as this goes to my beta readers in May, but the more the month flew by, the more my stress level became unbearable.
Thanks to a writer friend explaining to this Pantser how outlines work by using Marvel movie examples, I finally broke through the block!
Here's to fixing the pacing issue. Onward!

The next phase has started! I'm currently going through alpha reader feedback and adding more description and introspection to my bare-bones draft.

The NaNoWriMo rewrite is going great! Some chapters I'm just adding description, others are completely changed. I also have run into a plot hole that is going to require massive thinking to get out of. lol But that's the life of an author.

I'm a little behind on my word count goal, but the month is still young! I fully intend to catch up over the weekend.
Also, I rewrote chapter 1, then the next day, my brain decided that wasn't the way chapter 1 was supposed to happen. So I rewrote it AGAIN, and it went in a whole new surprising direction.
I love being a pantser, because I did NOT see that coming. lol

Rewrites have begun! I originally wrote part 2 of the trilogy during NaNoWriMo 2013. Now that my craft has improved, it's time to make it better!
