Reading this title for a new book club I joined, but I’m not loving it. Sometimes I don’t even like the characters. Why do I feel like they’re so flat on the page but their circumstances around them are certainly full? She gives us changes without explanation from within. Like the mother who moved. WTH? Ugh.
