Hex
Hex is 13% done
Just finished The Aura, the first work in this anthology. I enjoyed the story and it was a good paranormal mystery, but it wasn't a cozy mystery in the least. It was much more a thriller than a cozy.

I'm wondering if the rest of the stories in this set are going to prove the same way or if this was an outlier.

Wayward Skyril It makes sense that anthologies with different authors are a mixed bag, but it's always a bit jarring for me, not only jumping from world and plot and characters but jumping from the writing style and atmosphere every little bit as well.
I like the idea of anthologies more than I've ever liked them in practice

Hex I enjoy a good anthology, but when it's not on theme, it really throws me off. I was looking forward to a light cozy read and got the opposite.
