First chapter: fast-paced, not a lot of descriptive language. You're told exactly what the author wants you to know about this character, Neela, and you dont get much choice in interpretation. She doesn't illicit any emotions other than frustration because of the way she thinks/acts, but even in saying that there isn't much to go on it may get better. The concept is interesting, execution...meh
