Oh ok. I find I have trouble with this author, like I enjoy her stuff to a point but have trouble connecting with her because of the crazy plots. I never rate her higher than three but also never DNF her stuff either because it’s never terrible. It’s like she has potential for me and I want to enjoy her but something is always missing. It’s helpful to know you like the next one, because I know you enjoy her stuff and have read more of it than me.

What I like about this series is they are a bit shorter than normal, so there's one less chunk of ridiculous plot - like an arrow to the torso that is fixed with a bit of whiskey and a few days of bed rest or secret castle tunnel shenanigans. What I like about Heather McCollum overall is she's got the tropes down and delivers... Impossible love set-ups that only their big love can overcome with some highland antics in the middle for maximum struggle. All made so much better with Tim's magical growly highland hero voice. #kiltypleasures
Yea TC definitely makes this better. This one is cute though with the kids and dogs and even though the backstories are still melodramatic af, I’ve decided to roll with it.
