This is so weird. The first half of the book was extremely verbose in a way that I found hard to get into but I was still enjoying the bulk of it. However, she’s been pretending to be on a dinner date with Aristotle (who she nicknames Aris) for what seems like the next 30% of the book and it’s so cringy. It reads like a fan fiction and is so unnecessary for a nonfiction book about wasps.
