Notes:
(1) WTF? Is this really the same writing team from the main series?
- Feels awfully Silver Age. Really hokey pablum: the kind of comic you'd find on the back of a restaurant's kid's menu.
- We've got bumbling German spies and a "Prince and the Pauper" subplot.
(2) The art's a real downgrade. It's like cleaned-up Filmation.
- Background art is minimal to non-existent.

Notes:
(1) Jules and Verne have very different personalities. The problem is that they're utterly one-dimensional.
- Verne speaks like a normal person but Jules speaks in difficult, if not entirely unintelligible, high-brow talk (e.g. saying "manual appendage" instead of "hand").
- The gimmick wears thin really quick.
(2) The story feels dated. It's like G-rated '60s humor.

Notes:
(1) This takes place directly after Volume 5. I can understand why they decided not to call it Volume 6, since Marty's not involved beyond a replay of the last film's final scene.
- It also continues from the last film, so you wouldn't need to read the series to understand this in any case.
(2) I'm not fan of the art. Likenesses are good, but it's not at all dynamic.
