sadly this is from a more innocent time when circle didn't exist and Richard Branson was a still focussed of records and planes. think of it as wistful nostalgia! Oh for the days when pfi was the main scandal!
You poor sod (well, all of us poor sods really, but you in particular). It's one thing to read a depressing book about how crap things are now, quite another to read a depressing book about how crap things were then and think, 'But it's only got worse'.
