I’m only on page 9 but already I’m amazed and astonished at the level of control and fear china uses on its citizens. Even though the pandemic was a mess in the US at least the elderly weren’t forced to walk to the hospital and doctors weren’t threatened with arrest if they even mentioned the virus 😳 I’m very grateful for the bravery of the author and I’m happy that he was able to escape china.
