It’s been 16 years since I first read this. Ok, so I do remember Ben being the main character. Is he the tall man with the boy in Mexico? He decides to go back to Jerusalem’s Lot. That’s the prologue (?). Then the story truly begins and Ben is riding into ‘Salem’s Lot after not being there since he was a young boy. Stops at a house that’s been boarded up for awhile. Ok…
