i love the premise of this book, i really think the 5 years time jumps are lacking drama and impact. it feels like they’re just there to be there. but i still have half of this book to read so maybe i’ll like it at the end. also there’s too many time jumps within the time jumps (like 2 weeks later, 2 days later) without a lot of explanation i had to go back a few time to make sure i didn’t miss a page
