Salvador Espriu, for all my international friends (hey there!, btw) wrote poetry and drama in a moment of censorship during Franco's dictatorship, by using metaphor to avoid being censored, talking to the Catalan people, to bring them a sense of community and strength, after the oppression against us by Franco.
