Library scene was definitely a small surprise and I loved their inner monologues and when Cecelia told him “he knew before her” so cute but I was shocked by Briony’s absurd need to “be an adult” and how she could make herself believe she was seeing things that were completely false. I honestly wanted to slap her >:(
Oh I know! Briony is probably one of the most infuriating characters in literature
