I have read the first few chapters in bits and pieces, as much of it is a repeat of material I have previously looked at. I intend to read part 4 of the book in its entirety: Valerie Flint's "The Demonisation of Magic and Sorcery in Late Antiquity: Christian Redefinitions of Pagan Religions." The last part appears very promising regarding the transformation og folk belief into the Christian religion.
