Drache.... (Angelika)
Drache.... (Angelika) is on page 93 of 313
My biggest pet peeve while reading is when authors write facts that are ridiculous and nonsensical, without there being any need to do so.
Page 93. Susan works in a bar, and the bar's walls are papered with one dollar bills. There's more than one million dollar bills papering the bar the author claims.
This sounds like A LOT and my mind has to be sure I'm not fooled.
(I'll try to continue my rant as comment)

Drache.... (Angelika) ’s Previous Updates

Drache.... (Angelika)
Drache.... (Angelika) is 10% done
After rereading my Roe Horvat - favorites I needed something totally different, and I definitely found it in this book. The start of the story was a bit rough and I had to get used to a totally different writing style, but after having indulged in Roe Horvat's extraordinary writing style lately, that was to be expected.

Drache.... (Angelika) A quick internet search tells me :
"The area covered by 1,000,000 one dollar bills measures 111,287.5 square feet."
That's 10.338,95 square meters.
A big room sized 15x15 metres has a surface on all 4 walls and the entire ceiling of 405 square meters.
So the bar where Susan works has at least the size of 26 rooms each 15x15 square meters big.
Yeah, makes sense. NOT.

Jacob Proffitt So what you are saying is that to have a million dollars on the wall, you'd have to have most of the wall plastered with $20 bills with every tenth bill or so a $50 to have a million dollars on the wall and ceiling? That's good to know. That's exactly what I'd do with a million dollars...

Drache.... (Angelika) Haha Jacob, the author even took care to mention that the walls were an asset and insured.

Because insurance companies are all about taking liability for a million dollars just hanging on a wall. That's hilarious! On the one hand, the bills would have to be attached in such a way that they can be removed without damage. And on the other they'd be violating federal regulations against destroying currency. This author is a riot.

Drache.... (Angelika) Yeah the bills were all taped and tacked to the walls, and they were all signed by the people who left them, with a marker. The author really thought this through... (I'm just happy, Jacob, that I'm not the only one to find such things stupid).

Jacob Proffitt To be fair, this a very big stupid...

Emma ugh - I hate things like this. My brain puts a halt to me enjoying the book to go examine exactly what is wrong with annoying impossible "fact". It also always makes me wonder if the author has no true friends who will read their manuscript and tell them the truth.

Jai M {Cat Crazy Dragon } Can’t say how much $ exactly, but this is a real thing.

Check out photo’s 😬🤓 that’s a LOT of money hanging from the ceiling. Plus all the wall ones. 😉

Drache.... (Angelika) @Emma I'm like you and it drives ne crazy that I can't let go 😁 And your thoughts about friends are valid..

Drache.... (Angelika) @Jai wow thank you, I'm speechless. My internet search should have extended to the existence of such bears, not only the probable size of a bar if there were 1 million bills 😁🤷‍♀️
