This anthology is everything to me on my journey to know myself as a Black woman. I am so grateful for Audre Lorde's wisdom. She makes African cosmology relevant, weaving it into her day to day encounters and experiences with her dynamic Black consciousness. I remember the names of Dahomean deities and with this book in my collection, have a reference for my African heritage.
