Don't get me wrong, some of the best reads ever came from the shadowhunter stories (ie TMI and TID). The Plots, the characters (William Herondale- my one true love!) but seriously, how many series is there actually going to be? And how many series of short stories is there going to be?
They are some of my favorite stories, but even then they have to come to an end at some point even if you don't want that to happen.

I think the shadowhunters will end with The Wicked Powers, her series with gay protagonists. I'm much more excited for that series than TDA.

I understand. At the moment, I don't have a problem with that, though I must admit I also don't think it should go on beyond The Wicked Powers.
I'm glad Cassie isn't afraid to dwell where others choose not to go.
