3. Moral duties( dharma)- renounce the personal wealth to seek for the common good but also associated with the caste
4. Liberation( moksha): from the endless cycles of karma- samsara into the fullness of nirvana- the complete identification of brahman

2. Kshatriyas: the warriors and rulers- protect the ppl
3. Vaishyas: the merchants, peasants and craftsmen- breed cattle and pursue trade, lend money
4. Shudras- the laboring class- serve the other 3 above
