I’m finishing this today mark my words

Had to put this book down for a little be bc of moving but so glad to finally pick it back up; feels like I never left.

Quality is a very confusing thing then huh

This book feels so connected to my preexisting thoughts I can’t believe it. Like when he started talking about Phaedres’ obsession with Kantian ethics I was like bruh! That was literally me! I understand Kant isn’t some unknown philosopher but still it just felt so gratifying reading a book referencing another book and getting the references! Also listening to Eno while reading is def the move. 100/10 love love

Idk if it’s just this season I’m in or what but every word off these pages hangs onto my brain like an anchor. I absolutely love the way pheadrus’ philosophy is depicted and how it’s so meticulously intertwined in the ongoing story of the Chautauqua. Also can’t help but feel some form of relation with the son and his sort of mental deterioration. So incredible and introspective 10/10 already
