Enjoying this immensely despite being no iota of Southern, other than Southern Italian. The Dictionary is priceless. The photographs are unique and awesome. My copy is hard cover 540 pages before the Acknowledgements. All the musical scores, poetry, site pictures, vintage photos and references: just sublime. I'm at Page 339. Been to Beauvoir twice in the last 14 years. It doesn't look like that anymore. 1988 copy!
