- so far both characters are fine? Setting up to be fake dating friends to lovers with an age gap which I don’t hate, with a sprinkling of a single dad who has a deaf daughter. None of these words are in the Bible.
- lowkey was expecting the protagonist to be older but that explains the general naive vibe she has.
- don’t love the setup of fake dating but. It must be done.

I like the development of the relationship in the present day but it gets jarring when they’ve basically hooked up and then (boom) flashback of them pining like a year ago. Anyways I think the self loathing spiel was understandable but also hard to listen through.

Enjoying the tension so far (though also, maybe have a conversation about feelings? It's okay tho that's just mutual pining). Glad they did not go into specifics about the football game otherwise I would be mega malding over any kind of stuff I perceive as unrealistic.
