This has still got to be some of the laziest world building which is what I struggled to get past last time… how are you gonna copy/paste France and 16th century Catholicism into the middle of a high fantasy set in a completely made up world? At least make it an AU-historical fantasy if you’re going to be that blatantly unoriginal.
