Oof. This book is pretty bad so far. I bought it last summer while vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard, and am reading it now as this summer’s beach read. So far the only thing I’m enjoying is remembering my time on the Vineyard and the various places we visited that are getting mentioned throughout the book. The rest is bleak. My favorite character is the deceased aunt, which is never a good sign.
