A medical mystery is no less fun to read again. In fact, it's interesting to know the answer and watch the investigators miss the clues that would have led them to a cure and not know the questions to ask. Yet it's impossible to blame them; epidemiology is not easy, especially when the problem is really an anthropological one and cultural taboos stand in the way of the needed answers.
