Ugh. I have wanted to love this book and was hoping it would be just the right tool for introducing worldviews. I think it’s too gritty for a mixed high school audience and better suited for late high school and young adult. I also really feel like the extended metaphor of ideas being like viruses, though appropriate, hasn’t aged well in the post-Covid era. Such a bummer!
