“No Particular Morning Or Night”

A case of spacesickness? Interesting. Is it possible? And why are famous writers instilled in the story though? Not just this one, but as well as other chapters.

End of “the last night of the world”

What a load of bullshit.

You’re gonna just do your daily routine on the last night?

Please. This story is boring.

Mmm… here it is… a story through the White men’s Lens…. Boring.

End of the fire balloons

Interesting story. I like the blue orbs personally. I find the Fathers annoying. Maybe that’s just my bias towards religious people. Maybe it’s the scientist in me that’s annoyed at the justifications of the unexplained. But yeah I really like the chapter but did they kidnap one of the orbs?

End of “Rocket Man”
🙄poor Rocket Man doesn’t know what he really wants; to be with his family or to travel along the stars (and abandoning his family)

If the man was black, he would be called the deadbeat dad.

Another story through a white man’s lens

End of “The Long Rain”

Another story through a White man’s lens.

A group of men are on Venus. And the rain there is nonstop. People have died from stopping for too long and drowned from the pouring rain down their throats and noses. One of the men in this group is apparently a man of color but the rain washed him white😒🤦🏽‍♀️Anyway, a sun dome is what people need to be safe from the rain

The Man - continued

Hart, on the other hand, was not content. That’s why he left.

End of “The Man”

Being an atheist myself, I actually really like this chapter.

Martin and others are, for me, a literal representation for these who have found their peace and wanted to stay where they are and they do. They’re content. They have found “The Man,” but that doesn’t necessarily have to be a literal man, Jesus Christ, in particular. It could be something else… like a purpose we found

End of the “The Highway”

Some Spanish-speaking man named Hernando who is apparently a celebrity of some sort. However, he doesn’t know what “the world” is.

This chapter is odd and disappointing… 🧐

End of “The Kaleidoscope”

A group of colleagues fell out of space to their deaths. This all takes in a matter of hours, maybe? They were able to use their radio, though despite being over 15000 miles apart. There was drama then resolution. Then death.

DST = Deaf Standard Time

We’d never have enough time to fight and make up before we die in the outer space…🤣

The end of “The Other Foot.”

A story about the black people through the White lens…
