It actually happened with Alexa Riley's books. I think they uploaded it like.... a month or so later aftr release. By that time I had lost intrest/forgotten about it.

Last year or so, any Goodreads user were still able to add whatever books they wanted here without issue. But now, it’s limited to “Goodreads librarians”. I would’ve happily added the books myself but… 😑

I think that it is only limited to librarians to preven trolls.

Yeah, sometimes I would add fanfic fanfic that I had read but now we’re not able to anymore. 😒 I considered trying to become a Goodreads librarian just to have access again but I heard it’s actually pretty tricky.
