I am a #1 reader of the Nero Wolfe mysteries and have read (and re-read) all 40+ of those authored by the originator of the series. I have not read any of the Goldsborough books since I feel that no one can capture the world of Nero Wolfe better that Rex Stout. I'm sure that Goldsborough's works are well done and I hope you enjoy this one.

We are in agreement on the Stout series and I am not a "pastiche" fan. That being said, (written), the books I have read in this author's series aren't bad.
