Blood - 3.5⭐ reminded me a bit of A Kiss With Teeth, another short story with a domestic take on a vampire. I enjoyed AKWT more but this kept me turning the pages.
Fossil-Figures - read the first couple pages but decided to skip. It didn't grip me and the descriptions grossed me out.
Wildfire in Manhattan - 5⭐ LOVED this one. Really neat take on norse myth with fun characters. Need to read more by Joanne Harris!

The Truth is a Cave in the Black Mountains - 4⭐ a reread but worth reading again!
Unbelief - 1⭐ super short story about a hitman killing santa claus. Yeah. It was weird and felt underdeveloped especially the ending.
The Stars are Falling - DNF. I read about 10 pgs & the writing was ok but i'm not that interested in war stories. I've read this author before and didn't care for his story in that collection either.
